UUID Generator
Generate one UUID v4 or a fresh batch with secure browser randomness.
Your next identifier starts here.
Generate one UUID, or a batch of up to 100. Every value comes from your browser’s cryptographically secure random source.
Choose a quantity, then generate. Nothing is saved automatically.

One value or a fresh batch.
Choose a quantity and generate. Copy an individual UUID, or copy the entire list with one value per line. Regenerate replaces the current batch; reset clears it.
Randomness from Web Crypto.
UUID v4 reserves version and variant bits and uses 122 random bits. This tool calls your browser’s crypto.randomUUID API locally, with no timestamp, machine identifier or server involved.
Temporary by design.
Generated values stay in browser memory until you copy them. Navigation and reset discard the list. Clipboard access is always an explicit action.
Small details, predictable output.
Is a GUID the same thing?
GUID is another common name for a UUID. These values use the standard lowercase, hyphenated 8-4-4-4-12 representation, with version 4 and the standard variant bits.
Are collisions impossible?
No. Proper random v4 UUIDs make collisions extremely unlikely, but they do not provide a mathematical guarantee. Keep any uniqueness constraints your application needs.
Can I use these as passwords or access tokens?
This tool generates identifiers. UUIDs should not be treated as authorization: your application still needs its own authentication and access checks.
Why stop at 100?
A bounded batch keeps generation, scrolling and copying responsive. Copy all adds line breaks between values and no trailing newline.
Why might generation be unavailable?
The secure randomUUID API requires a supported browser and a secure context, normally HTTPS or localhost. There is no fallback to Math.random.
